Which vacuum-cleaner models are suitable for use with the VacProtect backpack?
VacProtect backpack was designed and created to fit the Miele Complete C3 canister vacuum cleaner. It also fits the newer Miele Guard M1 canister vacuum cleaner.
It does not fit the Miele Compact or Classic series nor the Miele Guard S1/L1. It has not been tested on any other brands. If there is interest in this same or similar type backpack-protection on other models, please reach out via email at admin@vacprotect.com or through the 'contact us' page.

Will the VacProtect backpack cause the vacuum-cleaner to overheat?
VacProtect backpack was designed to allow all necessary ventilation through the vacuum's exhaust grill. During rigorous testing, the backpack has not caused overheating.
If during normal use the vacuum feels like it is heating up, check to see if the dust-bag or filter need changing, otherwise refer to the vacuum's manual.
If overheating does occur after prolonged use, there is a safety mechanism on the vacuum-cleaner to shut off. Allow to cool down completely before resuming use.
How to clean & care for the VacProtect backpack?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild, diluted soap. Do not wring or twist.
Air dry in the shade only. Avoid direct sunlight and tumble dryers as this can damage the neoprene. Ensure backpack is completely dry before assembling on vacuum-cleaner.
Creases in the backpack will likely be present after shipping due to it being folded & packed; the creases will not affect function and will naturally ease over time when assembled on the vacuum-cleaner. If it's desired to flatten the creases quicker for aesthetic purposes, use a steamer at your own risk, keeping it a few inches away from the material. Do not use an iron.
How to store? Keep the backpack assembled on vacuum-cleaner and store as a single unit, or remove vacuum-cleaner and hang backpack via hook or arm straps. Do not hang via hook or arm straps while backpack is still assembled on the vacuum-cleaner.
